What do You Need to Know About the Entry Permit for Hajj & Umrah Seasons?

In order to enter Makkah, Saudi Arabia, visitors who plan to do Hajj or Umrah in the next season will need a valid entrance permission or visa. When it comes to admission permits, the regulations for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims are distinct from one another. All inclusive cheap umrah packages fly-in arrivals would just need to present basic travel documents, but hajj pilgrims must go to great lengths to ensure their safe admission into Mecca.

Information on the entry permit for the Hajj and Umrah seasons is provided below.

Type of permits/visas.

The Saudi government offers two different types of pilgrimage visas to visitors from all over the world:

1. For hajj.

Hajj pilgrims must submit all the paperwork to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner and then wait for their appointment. The requirements for a hajj visa/permit are as follows:

• To be a Muslim.

• Using a registered travel agency to submit an application for a Hajj visa.

• To travel independently, you must be at least 18 years old.

• Minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian with them at all times when travelling.

• Holding the Following Paperwork;

o legal passport.

o Passport-sized photos of yourself.

o Proof of current immunisations.

o the Mahram certificate, i.e., for female pilgrims to the Hajj rites.

• Documentation of lodging and transportation.

Hajj visas are only provided once a year because the pilgrimage is performed once a year. In addition, a visa fee must be paid in order for a pilgrim to receive a hajj visa.

2. For umrah.

Travellers can get their Umrah visas from a number of different sources. For instance;

1. Visa for visitors.

Tourist visas to the monarchy allow visitors from certain nations to perform small pilgrimage ceremonies. In other words, Muslims who are already in Saudi Arabia on a tourist visa can also go to Makkah to perform the Umrah ceremonies using Cheap December Umrah Packages without having to apply for a separate authorization.

2. E-visa.

It is possible for Umrah visitors to apply for and get their visas electronically through the Saudi Embassy's website.

3. An Umrah visa.

You must go through a licenced travel agency in order to acquire a certain type of Umrah visa. To obtain an Umrah visa, you should use the services of a legitimate travel company.

Details on what you need to apply for an Umrah visa.

• Two recent, frontal, colour pictures of the applicant (passport size) with a white backdrop.

• Certificate(s) of vaccination(s) still valid for all required immunisations for your destination(s).

• Hotel and return flight confirmations showing that you will be leaving the country before your Umrah visa expires.

• A passport that is valid for at least six months.

• The Itinerary.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah often provides pilgrims with complimentary umrah visas. A second Umrah performed in the same calendar year will incur an extra visa charge, though.

Except for the days of Hajj, visa applications for Umrah can be submitted at any time of the year.

To perform the holy rituals of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia without incident, you must meet these requirements for an admission permit.
