Ziyarath in Makkah; what to know about?

Saudi Arabia is home to the city of Makkah, which is the holiest place in the world for Muslims. Every year, tens of thousands of pilgrims come from all over the world and they Book Cheap Umrah Packages 2023 UK to go through the rituals of pilgrimage. Hajj is also a very important pilgrimage. When the pilgrims get together in the city on the 8th of Dhu-al-Hijjah, they start the hajj rituals together and do so until the 12th. In spite of this, Umrah pilgrims come to the city every day of the year.

Makkah is still the holiest city for Muslims because of many things. It is the place where Islam began and where some of the most holy things are kept. The fact that Masjid-al-Haram, or the Holy Kaabah, is here is enough to show Muslims that this place is holy.

Here is a short summary of the holy places in Makkah.

 Masjid-al-Haram.

Masjid-al-Haram, also called the "Grand Mosque of Makkah," is the largest mosque in the world and the first of Islam's three holy mosques. As long as the Qibla, or Holy Kaabah, is in the mosque in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, it will remain the centre of Muslim life.

The mosque is also home to the well of Zamzam, the Maqam-e-Ibrahim, the Hajar-al-Aswad (the Black Stones), and the hills of Safah and Marwah. This is because all of the rituals for Umrah and some of the rituals for Hajj are also done here.

 Jabal-al-Noor.

The Hira cave is an important part of Jabal-Al-Noor, which is also called the "Hill of Light" or the "Mountain of Light." On it is the cave of Hira, where Hazrat Jibril (AS) gave the Holy Quran to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) for the first time, according to Allah Almighty's will. So, this was the beginning of the Age of Enlightenment, or Islam.

Still there, Jabal-Al-Noor is a short drive northwest of the Old City. Since the sun is so strong during the day, most pilgrims only try to reach the top at dawn, dusk, or night. The hike can take anywhere from 45 minutes to three hours, depending on how fit you are. Because of this, you should bring a lot of water and a flashlight. You can find the Hira cave, which is marked by a sign painted on stone, by going up almost 1,200 steps.

 Jannat-Al-Mu’alla.

The holy cemetery of Jannat-Al-Mu'alla is not far from the Grand Mosque. Many of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad's (SAWW) ancestors are buried here, which makes it the second most famous cemetery in Islamic history. His mother Aminah, his grandfather Abdul Muttalib, and his first wife Khadijah all played important roles. The place is also called "Al-Hajun," and it is about 1 km north of the Holy Mosque, which is about a 15-minute walk. People visit this place using Cheap umrah packages.

These are some of the most important places to see in Makkah for Ziyarath.
